COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 204

WHEREAS, by Commit tee Report No. 42, the Publ ic
Works Committee has recommended the creation of two, new
positions of Equipment Operator 11 (SR-9) and the
elimination of one position of Equipment Operator 1
(SR-7) in the Bureau of Road Construction and Maintenance
of the Department of Public Works in the North and South
Rohala Districts CSection: 8.25 (h)_7;
NOW, THEREFORE BE ,IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS of the County of Hawai i that the two new
positions of Equipment Operator 11 (SR-9) are hereby
, '
created and one position of Equipment Operator I (SR-7)
is hereby abolished in the Bureau of Road Construction
and Maintenance of the Department of Public Works in the
North and South Kohala Districts LSection 8.25 (h)J
and that the Chairman and Executive Officer of the Board
of Supervisors, with the approval of the Board of Supervisors,
is hereby authorized to fill said positions of Equipment
Operator II in accordance with the rules and regulations
, .
of the Civil Service Commission and to pay to the employees
selected compensation as provided by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the salary ordinance
is next amended, the positions hereinabove created be

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be

directed to forward a copy each of this resolution to the
