COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 20S

WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 51, the Finance
Committee has recommended the creation of one position
of Park Caretaker-Recreation Helper (SR-4) in the
Department of Parks and Recreation Z-Section 8.26 (a) -7;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS of the County of Hawaii that the one new
position of Park Caretaker-Recreation Helper (SR-4)
is hereby created in the Department of Parks and Recreation
~Section 8.26 (a)~ and that the Superintendent of Parks
and Recreation is authorized to fill said position of
Park Caretaker-Recreation Helper in accordance with the
rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission
and to pay to the employee selected compensation as
provided by law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the salary
ordinance is next amended, the position hereinabove
created be incorporated therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be
directed to forward a copy each of this resolution to the
Departments of Par~and Recreation, Civil Service, County

\Auditor and County Attorney for their information.
