COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 214
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 54, the Finance
Committee has recommended the elimination of one position
of Assistant Clerk-Typist (SR-6) and the creation of one
position of Assistant Hospital Account Clerk (SR-9) in the
Department of Kona Hospital (Section 8.14); and
WHEREAS, by said Committee Report No. 54, the Finance
Committee has recommended that one position of Physician
(SR-26) and one position of Chest Surgeon (SPC-1) be
temporarily assigned 3/4 time until the position of
Medical Director (SR-31) is filled in the Puumaile
Division of the Department of Puumaile and Hilo Memorial
Hospital [Section 8.12 (b)_/.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS of the County of Hawaii that one position of
Assistant Clerk-Typist (SR-6) is hereby abolished and one
position of Assistant Hospital Account Clerk (SR-9) is hereby
created in the Department of Kona Hospital (Section 8.14).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that one position of Physician
(SR-26) and one position of Chest Surgeon (SPC-1) are
hereby temporarily assigned 3/4 time until the position of
Medical Director (SR-31) is filled in the Puumaile Division
of the Department of Puumaile and Hilo Memorial Hospital

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
is next amended, the positions hereinabove eliminated,
created, and temporarily modified be incorporated therein.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be
a
directed to forward a copy each of this resolution to the
Departments of Kona Hospital, Puumaile and Hilo Memorial
Hospital, Civil Service, County Auditor and County Attorney
for their information.
