COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 250
11HEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has approved the
recommendation of.the Civil Service Department to re-
allocate one position of Institutional Worker SR-I to
Nurse Aid SR-3 in the department of Kona Hospital
(Section 8.14) thereby necessitating the elimination
of one position bf Institutional Worker SR-1 and the
creation of one position of Nurse Aid SR-3 therein; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has approved the
recommendation of the Civil Service Department to _reassign
the salary range of Medical Social Worker II in the
department of Puumaile and Hilo Memorial Hospital, _
Puumaile Division (Section 8,12 (b)) and the department
of Medical Social Service (Section 8.30) from SR-15 to
SR-16,
NOW2 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,that one position of
Institutional Worker SR-1 is hereby eliminated and
one position of Nurse Aid SR-3 is hereby created in the
department of Kona Hospital (Section 8.14).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary range of
Medical Social Worker II in the department of Puumaile
and Hilo Memorial Hospital, Puumaile Division (Section 8.12
(b)), and in the department of Medical Social Service
(Section 8.30) is hereby reassigned to.SR-16.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the Salary Ordinance
is next amended, the positions hereinabove eliminated,
l~ created and reassigned be incorporated therein.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be
directed to forward a copy each of this.-resolution to the
departmerits of Kona Hospital,, Puumaile and Hilo Memorial
Hospital, Medical Social Service, Civil Service, County
Auditor and County Attorney for, their_ information.
