COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 284,
.WHEREAS, on August 19, 1959, the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Hawaii adopted Finance Committee Report
No. 51 reorganizing the table of organization of the
Department of Hawaii County Band (Section 8.35).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS of the County of Hawaii that the table of
organization of the Hawaii :County Band (Section 8.35),
together with the new salaries is hereby adopted in the
following respect:
ITEM NUMBER CLASSIFICATION SALARY
1. 1 Bandmaster (2/3 time) A-8
2. 1 Second Class Musician I $60.00
3. 4 Second Class Musician II 72.50
4. 1 Third Class Musician I 50.00
5. 4 Third Class Musician II 57.50
6. 3 Third Class Musician III 60.00
7. 1 Fourth Class Musician I 42.50
8. 4 Fourth Class Musician II 45.00
9. 3 Fourth Class Musician III 47.50
10. 15 Apprentice Musician I 37.50
11. 1 Janitor 50.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the new table of organization,
together with the salaries, effective July 1, 1959, be
incorporated in the salary ordinance when it is next
amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Auditor is
hereby requested to transfer the necessary funds from

the general fund to the proper account of the Department

salaries.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be
directed to forward a copy each of this resolution to the
departments of Hawaii County Band, County Auditor, Civil
Service and the County Attorney for their information.
