COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 310
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has approved the
Reorganization and Efficiency Committee Report No. 84
recommending that the maintenance (personnel and equipment)
of Alae Cemetery, Veteranst Cemetery and Naalehu Cemetery
be transferred to the Parks and Recreation Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS of the County of Hawaii that the personnel
and equipment of the Alae Cemetery, Veterans' Cemetery
and Naalehu Cemetery are hereby transferred to the Parks
and Recreation"Department.and the following positions:
One position; Sr. Grounds Keeper, SR 5
One position; Power Mower Operator, SR 5
One position., Grounds Keeper, SR 3
One position, Grounds Keeper (Veteranst Cemetery)
SR 3,
in the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Sewers and
Sanitation, (8.24) are hereby transferred to the Department
of Parks and Recreation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that when the salary ordinance
is next amended, the positions hereinabove transferred be
incorporated therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be
directed to forward a copy each of this resolution to
the Departments of Public Works, Parks and Recreation,
Civil Service, County Auditor, County Attorney and to the
Veteranst Cemetery Committee and Naalehu Cemetery Committee
for their information.
