RESOLUTION NO.
PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR AN ADDITION TO
FILTER AND RESERVOIR SITE OF THE NORTH KCNA WATER SYSTEM
..IN THE DISTRICT OF NORTH KONA, COUNTY AND TERRITORY OF
HAWAII,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:

That it is necessary, for the,public use and purpose,
to wit: addition to filter and reservoir site of the
North Kona Vater :System, in the District of North Kona,
County' and Territory of Hawaii, to take, acquire and
condemn the lands hereinafter described, and to that end and
for,~said purpose the County Attorney of the County of Hawaii
be and he is hereby authorized and empowered to institute
proceedings in eminent domain, as provided by law,,for the
taking, acquisition and condemnation of the lands' described
as follows: -
LAND SITUATED AT WAIAHA 2ND NORTH KONA, HAWAII, T. H.
BEING A POTION OF L. C. AW. 7912
Beginning at the Northeast corner of this parcel of
land on the Southerly boundary of L. C. Aw. 7913, the
coordinates of which point referred to Government Survey'
Triangulation Station "NORTH MERIDIAN" being 3519.08 feet
South and 15,866.75 feet East thence running by azimuths
measured clockwise from true South:

2. 730 051 0011 153.28 feet along the, north boundary
of Grant 976;
3. 175® 161~ 0011 82.27 feet along the east -boundary of
Portion Exec. Order 1589;
- 4. 1610. 09$ 0011 13.25 feet along same;
5. 2614 201 0011 156.76 feet along the South boundary of
L. C. Aw. 7913, to the point of

That, in the process of said proceedings in eminent
domain, said County Attorney be and he is hereby authorized
and empowered to negotiate terms of settlement, subject
to the approval of this Board and of the Court before which
such proceedings are prosecuted.
