COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, the Lord Almighty has chosen.to remove from
our midst JUICHI DOI; and
WHEREAS, the said JUICHI DOI was a life long resident
of the Territory of Hawaii and a highly respected and
esteemed citizen of this County; and
WHEREAS, the said JUICHI DOI was a member of the Hawaii
County Board of Supervisors during the years 1935-1938,
and a Representative to the Territorial Legislature in.
1941-1942; and
WHEREAS, during the years he served as a public servant,
the said JUICHI DOI served the people of this County
unselfishly, honestly and diligently; and
WHEREAS, as a member and leader in civic and business
affairs, the said JUICHI DOI contributed much toward the
welfare and progress of our County; and
WHEREAS, the passing of the said JUICHI DOI is a great
loss not only to his family and friends but also to the
County and Territorial-governments which he so ably and
devotedly served; and
WHEREAS, the passing of the said JUICHI DOI is deeply
regretted by the Chairman and Members of this Board of
Supervisors,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD. OF SUPERVISORS
of the County of Hawaii., at its meeting assembled on this
date, that the passing of -the said JUICHI DOI has exceedingly
grieved the Chairman and Me.mber•s_of this Board of Supervisors;

RESOLVED, that the Chairman and Members: of the Board
of.Supervisors of this County, fully aware of the
bereavement of the remaining family members 'of the late
J"tTICHI DOI, do extend to them their sympathy on behalf
of the County of Hawaii for their loss; and
RESOLVED, that as a tribute of respect to a highly
respected and esteemed citizen. of the County of Hawaii
and the Territory of Hawaii the foregoing be spread on.
the minutes of this meeting assembled and that the County
Clerk be instructed to forward a true copy hereof to -the
remaining family members of JUICH I DOI, deceased.
