COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO.3 -13
WHEREAS, the Rural Hospital Committee has recommended the creation of a new
position of Registered Medical Laboratory Technician, SR-11, on a permanent basis,
to provide services of a medical registered technician to all the rural hospitals,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS in and for the
County of Hawaii that for the reasons stated above, the foregoing position be
hereby established in the Honokaa Hospital and that the Superintendent of said
hospital be authorized to fill said position by appointment in accordance with the
rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission, and to pay to the employee
selected compensation as provided by law; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the employee who is appointed to said position
shall relieve the incumbents holding similar or comparable positions in the rural
hospitals during their vacation and leaves of absence; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED-that County of Hawaii Resolution No. 179 (1957) is hereby
revoked and rescinded; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that.the Clerk of the County of Hawaii be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy each of this resolution to the
Department of Civil Service and to the Department of Honokaa Hospital for their
information.
