COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO SELL CERTAIN
BUILDINGS LOCATED AT KAILUA COURT HOUSE PREMISES.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Hawaii that pursuant to the provisions of Section 146-35,
Revised Laws of Hawaii 1955, the purchasing agent be and he
is hereby authorized to sell the following buildings located
at the Kailua Court House premises (Executive Order No.
1013) which are riot needed for public use or unsuitable for
public use:
1. Keeper's cottage - 2 bedroom, area 1224 sq. ft.
2. Jail - 24' x 261 or 624 sq. ft.
3. Toilet and wash house - 161 x 18' or, 228 sq. ft.
4. Warehouse - 161 x 301 or 480 sq. ft.
5. Water tank - 10 ft, dia. x 6 ft.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such sale shall be based on
competitive bids and conducted in accordance with regulations
approved by the board of supervisors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the successful bidder shall
remove all buildings and rubbish from the premises except
the concrete floor and foundation of the jail. Removal
of buildings and clearance of area shall be completed to
the satisfaction of the county engineer within forty-five
(45) days from the awarding of the bid. The upset price
for the five (5) units hereiriabove listed is FIFTY DOLLARS
($50,00).
BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED that the county clerk be and he
is hereby instructed and directed to forward a copy of this
resolution to the purchasing ag~t of the county of Hawaii,
