COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 458
ABANDONMENT OF OLD ROAD REMNANT SITUATED IN PUNA, HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the construction of the Pahoa-Kalapana
Road,in Puna, Hawaii will cause a portion of the old
government road to Kalapana to be no longer necessary
for public use; and
WHEREAS, 'it has been determined that the County of
Hawaii has no `further use for the said portion of the
old government, road to Kalapana hereinafter more fully
described, for road purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that remnants
A, B, C, D-1 and D-2, as delineated on FAP ER-4(1) project

map attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference,
be and the same is hereby declared abandoned for road
purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy

of this resolution to the Honorable Frank W. Hustace, Jr.,
Commissioner of Public Lands of the Territory of Hawaii.
