RESOLUTION NO.
--RESOLUTION REDUCING PARKING METER RATE FOR THE BAYFRONT OFF-STREET PARKING
AREA LOCATED IMMEDIATELY HAMAKUA OF THE HILO THEATER FROM 50 AN HOUR TO 50
FOR EVERY T"WO (2) HOURS FOR AN ADDITIONAL-TRIAL PERIOD OF THREE (3) MONTHS.
WHEREAS, the third resolving clause of Resolution No,, 329 (1956) pro-
vides that the parking meter rate for the bayfront off-street parking area
located immediately Hamakua of the Hilo Theater"shall be 5¢ an hour; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Hawaii approved
the request of the Consolidated Amusement Company, Limited, to reduce the
parking meter rate for the bayfront off-street parking area located immedi-
ately Hamakua of the Hilo Theater from 50 an hour to 5~ for every two (2)
hours for a trial period of three (3) months commencing on April 16, 1958
and ending on July 15, 1958; and
WHEREAS; the Board of Supervisors of the County of Hawaii has approved
the extension of the trial period for an additional three (3) months.
NOW, THE1CFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS in and for
the County of Hawaii that pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of Ordi-
nance No. 121, as amended, the third resolving clause of Resolution No. 329.

(1956) be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"BE IT FURTHER;RESOLVED that the rate of 5¢ for every two (2)
hours be and is hereby adopted as the parking meter rate for the
bayfront off-street parking area located immediately Hamakua
of the Hilo Theater and which is also a part of said Parking Meter
Zone 4 for an additional period of three (3) months on a trial
basis effective July 16, 1958."
