Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 2, reports as follows:
Bill No. 2, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 5, dated
November 23, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-50, as amended, the Capital Budget ending June 30,
1999, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION
Waimea Senior Center Renovations (110-599-5594.40-115) $50,000
Funds for these appropriations shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund, Fund Balance and/or other Sources $50,000
This appropriation is necessary to begin renovating the former Waimea Courthouse to
accommodate the expansion of the Elderly Activities Division nutrition program presently situated
in the Edith Yoshimatsu Senior Center.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 2 and recommends
it pass first reading.
