COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION N0. .SYY
WHEREAS, the Chief Engineer of the Department of
Public Works of the County of Hawaii has recommended
the transfer of one (1) position of Painter SR 9 from
the North and South Kohala District (Section 8.21 d
of the Salary Ordinance of 1958) to the South Hilo and
Puna District (Section 8.21 b of said Salary Ordinance
of 1958)-
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT'RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that Sections
8.21 d 'and 8.21 b of the Salary Ordinance of 1958, being
Ordinance No. 200 of the Ordinances of the County of
Hawaii 1958, be amended so as to eliminate the position
of Painter SR 9 assigned to the North and South Kohala
District under said Section 8.21 d of s" d'ordinance,
and to increase to nine (9) the numberof positions of
Painter SR 9 assigned to the South Hilo and Puna District
,111.
under Section 8.21 b of said ordinance', the position so
assigned by this resolution to be filled according to
the rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission
and the laws applicable thereto.
r BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the
County of Hawaii be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to forward a copy each of this resolution to
the departments of Civil Service, Public Works and the
County Auditor for their information.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the transfer take effect
as of October 6, 1958.
