RESOLUTION NO. J15 Lf
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 270 OF 1957, ESTABLISHING AND DESIGNATING
NO-PARKING ZONES, TIME-LIMIT PARKING ZONES, U-TURN AREAS, PROHIBITED LEFT AND
RIGHT TURN INTERSECTIONS, ONE-WAY STREETS, THROUGH STREEETS,-STOP INTERSECTIONS,
AND PLAY STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, TERRITORY OF HAWAII,.AND REPEALING
ALL OTHER RESOLUTIONS IN C014FLICT HEREWITH.
Section 1. Section 1 (No parking Zones - Locations),as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding Subsectiom (uu) and (vv) to read as follows:
"(uu) On the Hamakua side of Kaiwiki Road at Wainaku Camp 2 from
the Gym Road intersection to a,point approximately 1,050 feet
makai."
11(vv) On the Puna side of Kaiwiki Road at Wainaku Camp 2 from the
Gym Road intersection to a point approximately 140 feet makai."
Section 2. Section 5 (One-way Streets - Locations) is hereby amended by
adding Subsections(k) and (1) to read as follows:
"(k) PAAUILO SCHOOL ROAD. All vehicular traffic shall move only
from the mauka to makai direction between the Paauilo School
Park Road and Mamalahoa Highway during the hours of 7:15 a.m.
to 8:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on school days."
"(1) PAAUILO SCHOOL PARK ROAD. All vehicular traffic shall move
only from the Honokaa to Hilo direction between the Paauilo
Homestead Road and the Paauilo School Road during the hours
of 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p-m- on
school days."
Section 3. Section 7 (Stop Intersections - Locations), as amended, is
hereby further amended by adding Subsection (q) to read as follows:
"(q) Entering the Paauilo School Road intersection from the Paauilo
School Park Road, when the one-way traffic system is not in
effect."
Section 4. This resolution shat 1 take effect upon its approval.
