COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION No. 584
WHEREAS, the presence of extraordinary numbers of
mosquitos in Pahala presents a dire problem to the citizenry
of this area; and
WHEREAS, there are no facilities for mosquito
control in Pahala; and
WHEREAS, the citizenry of Pahala has expressed
their desire to -eceive adequate protection from mosquitos,
NOti"J, Tl-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors in and for the County of Hawaii, that the
Board of Health be and it is hereby requested to exercise
the good powers of its office and assist the citizenry
of Pahala in combating the mosquito problem in said
area.
