RESOLUTION NO. 594
ABANDONMENT OF OLD ROAD REMNANT SITUATED IN KAPALAALAEA
2ND, NORTH KONA, HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the construction of a roadway in Kapalaa-
laea 2nd, North Kona, Hawaii, has caused- a portion of the
old Kailua-Keauhou Beach Road to be no longer necessary
for public use; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the County of
Hawaii has no further use for the 'said portion of the
old Kailua-Keauhou road hereinafter more fully described
for road purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that the
certain parcel of land situate in North Kona, Hawaii,
described as follows;
Kapalaalaea 2nd, North Kona, Hawaii, T. H.
Being a portion of the Old Government Road
over and across Grant 3019 to Kaaipulu.
G® Beginning at a 14-inch pipe in concrete
called tOKEPUHI" at the south corner of this
parcel of land and on the boundary between the
lands of Kapalaalaea 2nd and Kahaluu, the coordi-
nates of said point of beginning referred to
Government Survey Triangulation Station "KAHELO'F
being 12137.37 feet South and 5089.87 feet East,
as shown on Government Registered Map 0791
thence running by azimuths measured clockwise
from True South;-
1. 1280 1~0t 117.14 feet along portion of
Grant 3019 to
Kaaipulu owned by
Lin Okamura;
2. 169° 03t 30" 13.11 feet along portion of
Grant 3019 to
Kaaipulu owned by
Lin Okamura;

be and the same is hereby declared abandoned for road
purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy
of this resolution to the Honorable Frank W. Hustace, Jr.,
Commissioner of Public Lands of the Territory of Hawaii.
