Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 19, reports as follows:
Bill No. 19, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 68, dated
December 22, 1998, amends Ordinance No. 98-49, as amended, the Operating Budget ending
June 30, 1999. The amendment is as follows:

3305.06 State Grants -Glass Recycling Program Solid Waste $70,000
To:
085-601-5604.28-115 Glass Recycling Program Solid Waste $70,000
The State of Hawaii has increased the funding level for the Glass Recycling Program by
$70,000. The additional appropriation increases the FY99 total funding to $286,000.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 19 and
recommends it pass first reading.
