Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 23, reports as follows:
Bill No. 23, transmitted by Council Member Dominic Yagong, via Communication No. 90, dated
January 6, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 98 -50, as amended, the Capital budget ending
June 30, 1999, by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS
Haaheo School Sidewalk Project Phase Il (110- 399 - 5391.07 -115) $200,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General obligation bonds, capital projects fund balance, and/or other sources $200,000
This project includes the construction of a paved shoulder along Haaheo Drive from Wainaku
Street to Haaheo School, retaining walls, fencing, and necessary drainage improvements.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 23 and
recommends it pass first reading.
