RESOLUTION NO. /
CREATING POSITION OF SECRETARY TO THE COMMITTEES OF THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AND DESIGNATING DUTIES THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Hawaii that a position of Secretary to the
Committees of the Board of 'Supervisors is hereby created.'
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Secretary to
Committees shall be solely responsible to the members
of the various committees of said Board and shall perform
the following duties;
Attend meetings of the Board and of any committee
thereof; take notes of committee meetings; draft
committee reports; conduct research and compile
reports; draw up agenda for committee meetings;
make and keep records of.all matters referred to
committees; and perform such other duties as may
properly appertain to such office.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Standing Committees
chairmen of the Board shall have the power to appoint
the Secretary to Committees and all administrative matters
shall be the responsibility of any of the chairmen of
the Standing Committees.
