REFERRING CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACCOUNTS, VOUCHERS AND OTHER
MONEY NATTERS TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE AND PUBLIC WORKS
COMMITTEE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Hawaii that all claims, demands, accounts,
vouchers and other matters involving the expenditure of
public funds which require the approval of the Board
before payments can be made thereon shall be first
referred to either the Committee on Finance or the
Committee on Public Works on the following basis:
1. If payments are to be made out of moneys in the
general fund, they shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance.
2. If payments are to be made out of moneys in the
road fund, highway fund or fuel tax fund, their: shal l . be
referred to the Committee on Public Works.
3. If payments are to be made out of moneys in the
general fund and special funds, they shall be first referred
to the Committee on Public Works and after said committee
has cleared same, they shall be referred to the Committee
on Finance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to transmit copies of
this resolution to the County Auditor, Purchasing Agent
and County Clerk.
