G 4 REQUESTING THE HONORABLE COMMISSIONER OF PUBLIC LANDS OF THE TERRITORY OF HAWAII TO.CAUSE TO BE SET ASIDE BY EXECUTIVE ORDER, 5,000.00 SQ. FT. OF LAND IN THE VICINITY OF BOILING POTS, BEING A PORTION OF THE GOVERNMENT (CROWN) LAND OF PIIHONUA PASTURE «B", PIIHONUA, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII, T. H., TO PROVIDE A PARKING AREA FOR VISITORS TO THE BOILING POTS. WHEREAS, the Boiling Pots is rapidly gaining popularity as a center of attraction on this island; and WHEREAS, visitors to this wonder of nature have no area to park their automobiles while using a foot trail to get to the Boiling Pots; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Hawaii has been advised that there is an area available for parking purposes consisting of 52000.00 Sq. Ft. in the vicinity of the Boiling Pots, as shown on the blue- print attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Hawaii hereby respectfully requests the Honorable Frank W. Hustace, Jr., Commissioner of Public Lands of the Territory of Hawaii to cause to be set aside by Executive Order 5,000.00 Sq. Ft., of land, Piihonua Pasture Land "B", Piihonua, South Hilo, Hawaii, for parking purposes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Honorable Frank W.
