COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the following positions were authorized
and filled on the dates mentioned: Chief Termite
Exermi.nator, April 11, 1949; Termite Exterminator, April
21, 1955; and Road Labor Foreman 1, SR-11; Road Labor
Foreman II, SR-13; General Laborer, SR-3; Unskilled
Laborer, SR-1 (aa pit, S. Hilo);; April 11, 1949; and.
WHEREAS, there is now no practical need for these
positions; and
WHEREAS, it is not economically or practically
feasible to continue these positions; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee upon due study
and investigation has recommended their elimination,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors in and for the County of Hawaii that the
positions enumerated hereinabove be and are hereby
abolished and eliminated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a consideration of the
positions of Senior District Road Foremen of Kau, Kona,
and North and South Kohala, be recommitted to the Public
Works Committee for further study and recommendation.
