COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, this is the first time in the history of
amateur boxing that a Territorial-wide tournament is
being held in the City of Hilo; and
WHEREAS, it is the earnest desire of this Board
of Supervisors to encourage the institution of such events
and activities as are designed to enhance the physical
and moral welfare of our citizenry; and
WHEREAS, our new Hilo Civic Auditorium is to be the
site of this Territorial event to be held on May 2, 3 and
4 of this year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Members of the
Board of Supervisors.in and for the County of Hawaii that
this Board of Supervisors in behalf of the people of this
County of Hawaii extend its warm welcome and best wishes
to all participants in this worthwhile undertaking.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this resolution
to each participating organization.
