HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 119 Draft 01 1957 COUNTY OF HAWAII TERRITORY OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. / REQUESTING PASSAGE OF SENATE BILL NO. 779, RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE TERRITORY OF HAWAII. WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 779 is one of the most progressive pieces of legislation ever proposed by any legislature of the Territory of Hawaii; and WHEREAS, the program of economic development as outlined in Senate Bill No. 779 is a bold and positive step in the right direction; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Hawaii is in full accord with the provisions of the bill, particularly that portion relating to water development in the Kona area, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Hawaii that the Honorable Members of the House of Representatives of the Twenty- Ninth Legislature be and they are respectfully requested to exercise the powers of their good office and give favorable consideration to Senate Bill No. 779. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and he is hereby requested to send copies of this resolution to the Honorable Members of the House of Representatives.
