COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAIiAII
RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the finance committee, by report number
27, has approved the request from the county auditors
department for the creation of a new position of clerk-
stenographer, sr-7, on a permanent basis, to provide said
department with a clerk stenographer to do clerical and
stenographic work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the board of
supervisors of the county of Hawaii that for the reason
stated above, the foregoing position be hereby established
and that the county auditor be authorized to fill said
position by appointment in accordance with the rules and
regulations of the civil service commission, and to pay
to the employee selected compensation as provided by law;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the clerk be directed
to forward a copy each of this resolution to the department
J
of civil service and to the department of county auditor
for their information.
