RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, the public works committee, by report
number 14, has recommended the elimination of the four.
(4) positions of senior district road foreman for the
districts of North and South Kona, Kau, North and South
Kohala and Hamakua in the department of public works,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the board of
supervisors of the county of Hawaii that the foregoing
positions be hereby abolished as of this date. `
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the county clerk be
directed to forward a copy each of this resolution to
the department of civil service and to the department
of public works for their information.
