Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 79-99, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 79-99, transmitted by County Clerk Al Konishi, via Communication No. 255,
dated April 12, 1999, transfers funds as follows:
From:
010-107-5107.02-115 Election Division Misc Contract Services $2,700
To:
010-107-5107.02-104 Travel $2,500
010-107-5107.02-114 Electricity $ 200
$2,700
This transfer will cover the expected shortfall in the Travel account due to staff s participation in
the 1998 review of Genera] Election ballots. The shortage in the Electricity account is due to the
new policy by the D.O.E for use of electricity during election training classes.
Election System and Software, the vendor responsible for cost of the 1998 review of General
Election ballots, will refund the County of Hawaii its expenses.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 79-99
and recommends its adoption.
