COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUT ION NO.
ABANDONMENT OF OLD ROAD REMNANT FRONTING SHUZO IKENOtS
PROPERTY ON MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY, SITUATED AT KEOPUKA,
SOUTH KONA, HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the construction of a portion of the Hawaii
Belt Road in Keopuka, South Kona, Hawaii, has caused a
portion of the old Mamalahoa Highway to lie between the
new road and abutting property owner; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the County of
Hawaii has no further use for the said portion of the
old Mamalahoa Highway hereinafter more fully described,
for road purposes; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that said old roadway
containing an area of 363 square feet be made available to
the abutting land owner,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that the
old road remnant fronting Shuzo Ikenot-s property on
Mamalahoa Highway, situated at Keopuka, South Kona,
Hawaii, a more particular description and delineation
thereof being attached hereto and made a part hereof by
reference be and the same is hereby declared abandoned
for road purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of
this resolution to the Honorable Frank W. Hustace,. Jr.,
Commissioner of Public Lands of the Territory of Hawaii.

Beginning at a pipe in concrete on the East corner of remnant of
the old road, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to
Goverment Survey Triangulation Station "PUU QHAtF° being 5,610.79 feet
South and 11,849.09 feet East, thence running by azimuths measured
elocWi.se from 'rue South:
l.. 620 500 9.66 feet along the northerly boundary of
Hannah Koshi property to a pipe;
2. 1800 1w;' 30M 14450 feet alone east side of Hawaii Belt Road
(Ma alahoa Highway")
Thence along,the East side of Hawaii
Belt Road (Mamalahoa High-way) on a
1940.08 feet radius curve to the left,
the azimuth and distance of the
chord being:
3. 1190 141 54.5'9x" 73.96 feet to a pipe in concrete;
4. ,3530 32, $4.58 feet along the easterly side of remnant
of the ol'd road to the point of
beginning
