COUNTY OF HAWAII-TERRITORY OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 179
WHEREAS, the Rural Hospital Committee has recommended
the creation of a new position of X-Ray and Laboratory
Technician, SR 11, on a permanent basis, to provide
services of an X-Ray and Laboratory Technician to all the
rural hospitals.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the Count,~zof Hawaii that for
the reason stated above, the foregoing position be
hereby established in the,/Honokaa Hospital and that the
f
superintendent of said' hospital be authorized to fill
said pos.itio.n by appointment in accordance with the rules
and regulationsof the Civil Service Commission, and to
pay to the employee selected compensation as provided
by law; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the"employee who is
appointed to said position shall relieve the incumbents
holding similar positions in the rural hospitals during
their vacation and leaves of absence; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County
of Hawaii be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the Department of
Civil Service and to the Department of Ho.nokaa Hospital
for their information.
