Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 102, reports as follows:
Bill No. 102, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 116-99 by Finance Director Harry
Takahashi, via Communication No. 369, dated July 1, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-7Q as
amended, the Operating Budget ending June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:

3302.38 Federal Grants -Preliminary Breath Testing Genera] $14,000
TO:
010-201-5219.68 Preliminary Breath Testing General $14,000
The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation has granted the Hawaii County Police
Deparhnent the aforementioned funds for the purchase of another speed measuring display
trailer.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 102 and
recommends it pass first reading.
