Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 104, reports as follows:
Bill No. 104, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 117-99 by Finance Director Harry
Takahashi, via Communication No. 371, dated July 1, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-70, as
amended, the Operating Budget ending June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:

These funds are the balance due to Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency from the State
Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, from the Hawaii State Act 182
emergency planning project.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 104 and
recommends it pass first reading.
