RESOLUTION NO. 265

WHEREAS, EDWIN M. DESHA, now serving his seventh term
as County Clerk, and an esteemed citizen of the County of
Hawaii, celebrated his SEVENTY-SECOND (72) BIRTHDAY on
October 18; and
WHEREAS, Edwin 14, Desha, thxoughout his long and dis-
tinguished career in public service, has exemplified the
height of honor,, wisdom, integrity and resourcefulness, and
WHEREAS, Edwin Mo Desha, a gentleman of the highest
order, has commanded the respect and admiration of his
fellowmen for his unfeigned cordiality and keen insight
into matters of human affairs, and
WHEREAS, it is not only fitting, but proper that the
citizens and administration of the County of Hawaii acknow-
ledge and bestow public approbation in recognition of his
achievements and unstinting devotion to public service for
the past thirty-four (34) years) of his adult life,
NOVJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD :OF
SUPERVISORS, in and for the County of Hawaii., that this
Board extep.ds to Edwin M. Desha,its best wishes ,fox a
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and continued good health and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said EDWIN PVlb DESHA,
