HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 270 Draft 01 1957 ,f, • l COUNTY OF HAWAII - TERRITORY OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO.,7,_-1'i9 cep, 0' , yd y A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND DESIGNATING NO-PARKING ZONES, TIME-LIMIT PARKING ZONES, U-TURN AREAS, PROHIBITED LEFT AND RIGHT TURN INTERSECTIONS, ONE-WAY STREETS, THROUGH STREETS, STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND PLAY STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, TERRITORY OF HAWAII. 'WHEREAS, Section 5 of Ordinance No. 147 of the County of Hawaii 1954, as amended, provides that the Board of Supervisors shall by resolution create no-parking zones, time-limit parking zones, U-turn areas, prohibited left and right turn intersections, one-way streets, through streets, stop intersections, and play streets; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, in and for the County of Hawaii, that the following identified locations in the County of Hawaii, Territory of Hawaii, be and are hereby established and designated as no-parking zones, time-limit parking zones, U-turn areas, prohibited left and right turn intersections, one-way streets, through streets, stop inter- sections, and play streets. Section 1. No-parking Zones. Locations. (a) On the Puna side of Wailuku Drive from Shipman Street to Keawe Street, on the Hamakua side of Wailuku Drive from Keawe Street to Kinoole Street. (b) The Puna side of Piopio Street and on the West side of Piopio Street within the area fifty (50) feet on either side of the first angle of said Piopio Street makai of Kilauea Street. •r (c) The Hamakua side of Furneaux Street between Kamehameha Avenue and Kilauea Street. (d) The Puna side of Kumu Street between Kamehameha Avenue and Kilauea Street. (e) On Punahoa Street between Ponahawai Street and its end in the Hamakua direction. (f) On the makai side of Puueo Street from Iliahi Street to Kauila Street. (g) The Wainaku side of Iliahi, Kauila, Lehua and Ohai Streets between Puueo Street and Wainaku Street. (h) On the Hamakua side of Kohola Street. (i) On all roadways within Waiakea Mill Camp 1 area, except Kohola Street. (x) Kinoole Street, from Kawailani Street to the Puna boundary of Vlaiakea-Waena School except for the paved parking area provided on the makai side. (y) The Puna side of Hanalei Lane (makai extension of Hualalai Street) from Kilauea Street to Josephine Lane. (z) On the roadway of Mamalahoa Highway between the 4-mile Bridge and the Slaughterhouse Road. (aa) The Waipio side of Kika Street in Honokaa. (bb) The makai side of Koa Street in Honokaa.
