Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 118-99, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 118-99, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication
No. 373, dated July 6, 1999, transfers/appropriates funds as set forth below:
FROM:
010-911-5911.04 Provision for Compensation Adjustment General $74,424
TO:
010-901-5902.10 UPW Prepaid Legal Plan General $74,424
As a result of the UPW settlement, the County of Hawaii is responsible for paying $7 per month
per employee to the Union for a prepaid legal plan. This transfer/appropriation conforms to that
settlement.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 118-99
and recommends its adoption.
