Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Communication 633 and Bill 178, reports as follows:
Bill 178, transmitted via Communication No. 633 from Director of Public works Warren H. W.
Lee on November 30, 2009, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5 (Parking) and Section
24-280, Schedule 28 and Schedule 29 of the Hawai'i County Code (2005 edition, as amended) to
effect improved parking controls along Kalanianaole Street in the district of South Hilo.
There were no testifiers, and no discussion by your Committee.
Your Committee on Public Warks and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bill No. 178, and recommends passage on first reading.
