<br />~ ~. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />,"'S;o <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />~ . <br /> <br />'lATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />, ~ <br /> <br />'(",-.'. . .............,........-. -,. /",/ <br /> <br />RESQl;U,'tION <br /> <br />A RESOLUTON AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF TWO CELLULAR TELEPHONES EACH WITH <br />A TWO-YEAR SERVICE PLAN AND SIXTEEN HOODED SWEATSHIRTS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Denny D.Dickenson has donated two cellular telephones each with a two-year service <br />plan and sixteen hooded sweatshirts to the County of Hawaii Parks and Recreation Department for use by <br />lifeguards at Kahalu'u and White Sand Beaches; and <br /> <br />. . . <br />WHEREAS, the value of the two-year cellular service plans is ($1,107.84) one thousand one hundred <br />seven dollars and eighty-four cents, and the value of the donated sweatshirts is ($378.55) three hundred seventy <br />eight dollars andfifty-:-five cents. The cellular phoneswere of no additional cost; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Ch~er provides that the Council, on behalf of <br />the. County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HA WAIl that <br />in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii Department of <br />Parks and Recreation is authorized to accept the donation of two cellular telephones each with a tWo-year <br />service plan and sixteen hooded sweatshirts. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerkis hereby directed to forWard a copy of this . <br />Resolution to George Y oshida,Director of Parks and Recreation, and the Department of Parks and Recreation is <br />directed to send aJetter of thanks to Denny D.
