<br />'. <br />COUNTY OF HA <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />lrATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />~~ It,':.'. <br /> <br />. . .., <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF HAWAI:tTO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE <br />DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, OFFICE OF YOUTH SERVICE, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, FOR A <br />DARE/OYS GRANT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State Department of Human Services Office of Youth Servlce,is <br />desirous of providing funding for expenses to further the education of the DARE <br />officers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department is ready and willing to proceed <br />with its obligations under the DARE/OYS Grant; <br /> <br />, , <br />WHEREAS,pursuant to sections 46~7 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the <br />Federal government may enter into agreements with the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />providing the expenditures or receipt of funds o,r for otherassistanc~; <br /> <br />NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY, THE COUNCIL. OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the Honorable Stephen K.
