Committee (D.I.A.) requested that the County institute a pilot project for a three-month <br /> <br />moratorium of all parking meter fees on all parking metered stalls in the Hilo area, <br /> <br />excluding parking metered stalls at the .County and State building; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the C()un~il adQptedR,es()lution NQ. 222,.9g that dispensed'with the <br /> <br />, ' ' " . A. will be submitting a busines;;activity assessment and <br /> <br /> <br />comparison r~portto the Com'niittee on. Public Works & Parks on June 15, 1998, for the <br /> <br />Public Works and Parks Committee to review its conclusions. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH B COUNCIL' OF THE <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAW All that it waives the payment of a coin or Goins pursuant to Chapter <br /> <br />24, Section 24-216(a),oftheHawaiiCounty Code 1983, for a thirty-day extension period <br /> <br />beginning at 8:00 a.m. on June 1, 1998, and ending at 4:00p.m. on June 30, 1998 for all <br /> <br />the metered parking stalls in the downtown Hilo area, excluding the metered parking stalls <br /> <br />at the County and State'buildings. <br /> <br />BE IT-FURTHER RESOLVED that the limited period of time for which parking is <br /> <br />lawfully permitted for the applicable parking meter zones shall be enforced. <br /> <br />/,,,,,, <br />
