Council Chair and Members Hawaii County Council Hilo, Hawaii 96720 There were no testifiers. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS Re: Comm. No. 679 /Res. 295 -10 Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred Communication 679 and Resolution 295 -10, reports as follows: Resolution 295 -10, transmitted via Communication No. 679 from Council Member Kelly Greenwell, dated December 21, 2009, supports and encourages the expeditious completion of the building of water, sewer and sold waste infrastructure in North Kona. Council Member Ford and Committee Chair Enriques questioned the purpose of this resolution and Council Member Greenwell explained the intent is to have a clear tool for communication with other branches and echelons of government, and to have such resolutions available as an aid to lobbying for funding. Council Member Hoffmann asked if there are issues in moving forward with the various projects mentioned in this resolution. Council Member Greenwell replied none are known at this time.
