Re: Comm. No. 679 /Res. 295 -10
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Communication 679 and Resolution 295 -10, reports as follows:
Resolution 295 -10, transmitted via Communication No. 679 from Council Member Kelly Greenwell,
dated December 21, 2009, supports and encourages the expeditious completion of the building of
water, sewer and sold waste infrastructure in North Kona.
Council Member Ford and Committee Chair Enriques questioned the purpose of this resolution
and Council Member Greenwell explained the intent is to have a clear tool for communication
with other branches and echelons of government, and to have such resolutions available as an aid
to lobbying for funding.
Council Member Hoffmann asked if there are issues in moving forward with the various projects
mentioned in this resolution. Council Member Greenwell replied none are known at this time.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose
