TATE OF HAWAII
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt the street names of
unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22,
Hawaii County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of May 15, 1998, approved the
names for the certain unnamed roadways inWaiakeaHeights Subdivision, Units I and II, Waiakea
Homesteads, South Hilo, Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows:
"Kaulike Street"
Equity, justice, equal
Faith, confidence, trust, to have faith, to believe
implicitly
"Paulele Street"
"Lelepau Streef'
Extension of an existing street
Trust, to trust completely,.to apply oneself to,
concentrate wholly, on
"HoolauleaStreet"
