Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 119, reports as follows:
Bill No. 119, transmitted by Finance Director Hazry Takahashi, via Communication No. 420,
dated August 16, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-71, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2000, by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS
Lindsey Road Improvements 110-399-5394.31-115 $451,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - $451,000
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
Bill No. 119 reappropriates the County's shaze of the federally funded project. This project
proposes to improve the intersection at Lindsey Road and Kawaihae Road, and to reconstruct the
failing pavement along the intersection.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 119 and
recommends it pass first reading.
