Subject: Plastic Bags -Bill 193
Aloha,
I am in favor of Bill 193 to ban the use of plastic bags throughout the state of Hawaii. Plastic Bags have
many detrimental effects on our marine environment and contribute to dependency on foreign oil as you
probably know. People of Hawaii can easily adapt to not having plastic bags. We need to act now so we
can make a difference for the future. Bill 193 is one step towards a sustainable future in the islands.
