Subject: testimony.
I feel that marijuana should be decriminalized as it has proved itself to be helpful in the medical
world. Also, if the decriminalization of the use of marijuana will lead to lowering the market
value of other drugs, which could eventually lead to the dissolution of the whole drug market, I
say, "Why not ?" Obviously, people are going to use marijuana regardless of if this law is passed
or not, so it should just be passed. Decriminalizing the use of marijuana might increase the
availability to the youth, but alcohol and tobacco use can be just as bad (if not worse) and those
substances are legal. It is true that marijuana use can alter the mind, but also like any other
drug, it can be administered properly and used effectively.
