I ask that someone on the County Council please request that a full financial accounting be included in
'Marijuana Eradication Report'. What does this Police activity cost? What are the specific tangible
benefits to the community?
Furthermore, I ask that someone on the County Council please inquire as to what other law enforcement
activities are neglected during these `eradication' efforts. For sure, some other law enforcement
activities are neglected, because the Police Department is known to be short of resources. Any time
Police personnel and equipment are used in 'marijuan eradication' efforts those same resources cannot be
made available to protect life and property.
