Comm. 692: APPLICATIONS FROM NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS FOR COUNTY GRANT
FUNDING FOR FISCAL YEAR 2010 -2011
From Finance Director Nancy E. Crawford, dated February 3, 2010, submitting the
qualifying applications from nonprofit organizations pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 25,
Hawai`i County Code, for the Council's review and appropriation of funds for inclusion in
the Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2010 -2011. Eighty -nine (89) organizations have
submitted applications, totaling $3,738,717.24. Attaches a list of organizations, the
program titles, and amount requested.
Close file on Comm. 692 and an ad -hoc committee was created consisting of
Councilmembers Emily Naeole- Beason, Chair; J Yoshimoto, Vice Chair; Dennis
"Fresh Onishi, member; and Guy Enriques, member:
Ayes: Committee Members Enriques, Greenwell, Ikeda,
Onishi, Yoshimoto and Chair Naeole- Beason.
Noes: Committee Member Ford.
Absent: Committee Members Hoffmann and Yagong.

formation of an ad hoc committee.
