Attached is a bill to amend section 25 -2 -46 of the Hawai`i County Code, relating to
concurrency conditions. The proposed changes expand concurrency requirements to include
parks and recreational facilities and firefighting facilities.
Resolution No. 219 -09, as duly approved by the council on September 2, 2009,
forwarded this measure to the planning director and planning commissions for their review and
respective recommendations.
As there was a procedural issue with placement of the bill on the appropriate agenda of
the council or one of its committees subsequent to the required review and recommendation by
those parties, I hereby submit the subject bill to fulfill the purpose of Resolution No. 219 -09.
