Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Florence Ikeda of Council District 2 to the County of
Hawai'i Pension Board. Ms. Ikeda is a 60 -year resident of Hawai'i. In 2005, she
retired as the School Administrative Services Assistant from the State of Hawai'i
Department of Education.
Her community service included membership with the Ke Ana Lahana Public Charter
School, Kaumana School PTA, and Hawaii School Office Services Association.
Ms. Ikeda states that she is a democrat. If confirmed, she will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2015.
