It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Dwayne Yoshina of Council District 2 to the County of
Hawaii Board of Appeals. Mr. Yoshina is a life -long resident of Hawaii. In 2007, he
retired as the Elections Administrator for the State of Hawaii.
Mr. Yoshina presently volunteers for the USDA Wildlife Services as a volunteer Ranger
for the Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Forestry and Wildlife at
Mauna Kea. Mr. Yoshina states that he is a democrat. If confirmed, he will serve a
term to expire on December 31, 2015, replacing Mr. David Drury, whose term expired
on December 31, 2009.
