It is my pleasure to nominate Stephen Ono from the South Hilo District to the Hawai'i County
Windward Planning Commission. Mr. Ono is a 69 -year resident of Hawaii. He retired in 2000,
as a school counselor with the Department of Education. Mr. Ono presently serves as the
Director of HSTA -R, and Vice -Chair of the Hawai'i Alliance of Retired Americans. He formerly
served as a member of the County of Hawai'i Liquor Adjudication Board.
